Features of RDT orientation-controlled drop tester
(US Patent No: 6508103B1)

  • Enables mechanical-shock fragility testing of portable consumer products.

  • Allows product to be gripped at any desired orientation.

  • Allows product to experience free fall from desired height.

  • Facilitates unrestrained impact at a specified orientation on a target surface .

  • Produces very consistent results (compared to "string-type" drop testers).
