Measurement of mechanical properties of materials

Materials ¨C metals, alloys, plastics, rubbers, foams and composites ¨C have a very large spectrum of properties. Selection of materials for a specific structure (e.g. metal or plastic for casings of mobile phones) depends upon the mechanical properties of strength (max sustainable force), rigidity (elasticity, stiffness) and deformability (plasticity) at a given temperature and a loading speed. Robust Dynamics is experienced in measurement of mechanical properties of materials and has diverse testing facilities for different materials.
